Our stay at Wild Wadi was truly a value for money experience. The room was clean and comfortable, providing a cozy and relaxing atmosphere. The location was perfect, close to the lesser used entrance of Wilpattu National Park, giving us a peaceful safari experience. The staff, especially Prasad, was incredibly friendly and helpful, making us feel welcome throughout our stay.

Breakfast items could be improved with a wider selection.

My husband and I stayed at Wild Jadi for two nights and went on two full-day safaris. The staff and owners were incredibly helpful and passionate about wildlife conservation. They even took us on a night drive to spot leopards when we didn't see one during the day. The accommodation is situated on the outskirts of the jungle, offering a chance to see elephants and leopards at night. The food was delicious, especially the string hopper and curry. The rooms were basic but clean, and the outside bath/pool was a nice touch. a unique and memorable experience.

The location of this lodge is absolutely fantastic, with easy access to the nearby national park. We were warmly welcomed by Claude, who was always there to assist us with anything we needed. The highlight of our stay was definitely the verandah with a plunge pool - a true gem! It was so refreshing to relax in the pool after a long day of game viewing. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, with great air conditioning. Shanker, the owner, was also an exceptional host, always happy to share his knowledge about the local area and Sri Lanka. He even offered to drive us back to Colombo at the end of our stay, which was incredibly generous. we had an amazing experience and will definitely be returning!

Wild Wadi in Wilpattu is a great place to stay with a fantastic location and very friendly and helpful staff. the owners, a nice family, are dedicated to meeting your needs and they exceeded my expectations. They offer excellent opportunities to see wildlife, with Mr Ch being a veteran of Safari and an excellent guide. the naturalist guide provided also offers great insights into the local area and its animals. the accommodation is equipped with a plunge pool, perfect for the hot weather. Wild Wadi offers a great experience and I would definitely stay there again. Cons: Nothing, it is perfect! 👌.

The safari ride through the jungle was exhilarating, and we were surrounded by untamed beauty. The highlight for our kids was the thrilling boat rides on tranquil waters. Every day brought new adventures and discoveries, from bird watching to kayaking. The food was fantastic, with the seafood BBQ as a standout. The variety of delicious options delighted our taste buds, and the attentive service elevated the dining experience. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and had a homely feel.

For families, it would be great to have more organized activities for children.

There were a few areas where the hotel could improve. the rooms were a bit sparse and could benefit from some additional furnishings to make them more cozy and comfortable.
